Mini Album

I made this mini-album for Bird for his birthday. It's becoming a tradition for him :) I used the Hip 2-b Square Hip Kit and the add-on. The add-on had cool acrylic pages that I used for the front and back covers, as well as some divider pages in between the cardstock pages.

Here you can see how the rub-ons are layered on the acrylic page.
Love my EK Success notebook border punch to add fun detail.
I used the Jenni Bowlin Bingo cards extended above the pages for a fun look.

The bingo card packaging had mini-cards printed on the back so I cut some out and used them as tags.
I rotated the placing of rub-ons for each acrylic page. So some were on the bottom, top, or sides.
This is the last page and inside of the back cover. I adhered white cardstock to the back of the acrylic page with Zip Dry glue because I wanted a patterned paper on the back but didn't want the reverse pattern to show through :)

Another use of product packaging--the Sassafrass number die-cuts had cool lined notebook packaging so I cut some up and used it for a journaling box.

Each page had a ribbon tab to make it easier for Bird's little hands to turn (and save the page edges).

I lined the back of each bingo card with patterned paper to give it a more finished look. In this shot you can see the stitching I did around the pages as well. This was a huge step for me--breaking out the Sew Mini to actually stitch on a page. (Don't laugh, Amy!)

The back cover--sweet and simple :)
Bird was super excited to have another birthday album to look at--and I was excited to make it. The acrylic pages were fun to work with :)

I'm glad you finally used your Janome! I bet she's been lonely in that box all this time!
