When Miranda wrote out her birthday wish list last month, I knew I wanted to keep it for her to look back on. The day before her 13th birthday, she and some friends decided to dress up for school. It was the perfect photo to have to celebrate her special day.
These products are from the September Hip Kit. There is a great combination of colors, products, and textures.
The orange letters in the kit were a little too bright for the feel of my layout so I toned them down with some white and yellow mists from Studio Calico.
I used the glassine bag that held the embellishments safe in the kit for the pocket to put her list in. I loved the "want it!" washi tape that was included with the bag. Thought it fit the theme of the page.
Still can't believe I have a teenager . . .

I'm thinking that Washi tape would be perfect for both of my teenagers!! (Or almost teen... my youngest turns 13 next week.) Seems to be all I hear.
I love how you combined two of the latest crazes in one layout...the hexagons and the chevrons....lovely layout.
