September Hip Kit layouts and cards

The September Hip2bSquare kit was really fun to work with. I especially enjoyed the add-on with the Jillibean corrugated letters and the prima flowers.

This first LO was made using a sketch by Allison Davis. I really love her style and the fact that she mainly makes 2-page layouts. As soon as I saw the sketch on her blog I knew I wanted to use it with the felt stems in the add-on kit.

This next LO I kept pretty simple, following a Pencil Lines sketch. Loving those alphas!

For the circles on this LO, I traced a plate on the paper and then cut it out with an exacto knife. Then I cut the red-checked border by following the line out a bit toward the edge of the page. I like the whimsical feel of the uneven cutting. The Core'dinations cardstock was a treat to work with this month. I love how it has the different color core.

I couldn't use this kit without doing a school LO--it's September after all :) This LO is actually based on one side of a double-page PageMap. The Sassafrass alphas with the little monsters inside of the centers--too cute!

This little project came from a template found here. What a cute idea! I loved using the bird paper for a "tweet" :)
